The construction corner is always one of the most energetic, teamwork-focused, and creative areas of any early childhood centre. Through construction, children work together to create, to imagine, and to explore a range of curriculum areas.

Marguerite describes how the construction area at Kids’ Domain provides holistic, energetic, and creative opportunities for children to explore and learn. She explains how they support children to have agency over this area, and how they incorporate their local curriculum through the resources they provide. She also discusses how, through this exploration, children learn cross-curricular domain knowledge and engage in a range of roles with their peers.
