When children and teachers venture outside the centre, they build relationships with the people and places of their local community. This develops children’s sense of belonging and connection, and creates a wide range of opportunities for learning across multiple curriculum areas.
Kim and the team at Kids’ Domain go on regular walks into Pukekawa (Auckland Domain), which is adjacent to their centre.
