Environments guide and inspire children’s learning and exploration. Through intentional design and consideration of how children engage in these spaces, teachers can set up resources and spaces that encourage agency and creativity, and provide a range of different learning opportunities.
Kim and Marguerite from Kids’ Domain describe how they intentionally set up different curriculum areas within their environment to engage children in a wide range of learning and exploration opportunities. They describe how the energy of the different spaces informs and guides what they provide.
