Webinar Courses – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to webinar subscriptions and information provided by The Education Hub.

Services

The Education Hub offers certain webinar content relating to education, teaching practice and related subjects. The webinar description is intended to indicate only the general nature of the webinar and does not guarantee content. The Education Hub reserves the right to amend the webinar and alter details at its discretion. Webinars may be withdrawn at any time.

An annual subscription gives you access to webinar content for a 12 month period from the date of purchase. The purchase of access to an individual webinar gives you access to that webinar for a 12 month period from the date of purchase. 

Payment / Registration

The fee for the webinar subscription (the “Fee”) must be paid in full within one week of the live webinar taking place or you accessing the recording. You are responsible for non-payment, even if the Fee is are being paid by a third party. 

Subscriptions will be billed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Accepted payment methods are PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, or bank transfer.

You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.  Submission of your registration, alongside full payment of the Fee constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your registration up to the day of the webinar starting. After the live webinar has started, a refund cannot be offered. 

The Education Hub reserves the right to cancel the webinar by giving you notice in writing (including by email) at any time before the webinar start date. The Education Hub will refund individual webinar subscriptions paid by you for the cancelled webinar. Those holding an annual subscription will not receive any refund. The Education Hub’s liability when it cancels a live webinar will be limited to a refund of the Fee or any other charges paid for the cancelled webinar. All dates are subject to change, however notice of such change will be given and refunds will not be issued for any rescheduled webinar.

All materials – including but not limited to text, photographs, video, audio, images and any other content – appearing via the webinar and/or on the Website are protected by copyrights and/or other proprietary rights belonging to The Education Hub and/or other third parties. You agree to abide by all applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights and privacy rights in NZ, the US, UK and any other jurisdiction from which you are accessing the Website.

You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the webinar and/or on the Website.  You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, or allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database. You may use the content from the webinar and/or on the Website only for personal, non-commercial use.

Should you wish to use the webinar or part thereof as part of a professional learning activity or session where the webinar would be shown to persons other than those who hold a subscription allowing them to view the webinar, you must contact The Education Hub for further re-use information.

You agree to maintain the security of any user name and password required for accessing the webinar.  You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password. Only you may access the webinar using your login details. You may not provide your login details to any other person, or enable others to utilise your login to access webinar content. 

Data protection

By registering with The Education Hub and by paying the fees, you agree to The Education Hub collecting and using your personal data. This will be done in accordance with The Education Hub’s privacy policy. 

Technology requirements

The webinar is facilitated through an online platform. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the webinar. The Education Hub is not be responsible for any errors or failures in relation to your ability to access the webinar, the Website or any related materials, including where such errors or failures are caused by: (i) a loss of connection on The Education Hub’s or your end; (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online software and/or (iii) a breakdown or problems with your internet connection, computer or system.

Limitation of liability

Except in case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, The Education Hub accepts no liability for any damages caused in connection with the services under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to damages in the form of data loss, failure to operate, lost revenue or missed profits.

Term

An annual subscription is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. An individual webinar subscription is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Law and venue

Any disputes in connection with this agreement are governed by New Zealand law and must be brought before the courts of New Zealand.
